Both born in Oregon; Adam is a 4th generation Oregonian growing up near Skyline while April grew up on the southern Oregon coast. Adam traveled the globe working as a mill reliner and April moved to Portland to attend culinary school and worked in several restaurants boasting roles as Restaurant Manager, Pastry Chef, and Head Chef. Falling in love with food and hospitality April and her mother Cristi always dreamed of owning a wedding venue. When Adam and April two met in 2019, they felt an instant spark and quickly fell for each other. Joining forces to bring April's dream into reality; they bought the land and went to work. With help from countless friends and family and literally building from the ground up they were able to create Pine Ridge Garden. In June of 2022, they were the first couple to get married on the property.
